Yuengling Beer has been linked to the coronavirus outbreak that has sickened thousands of people around the world.
The company announced Tuesday that the outbreak has been traced to a virus that was imported into Corona beer in the United States in 2015.
The Corona brand was the first to be affected in the outbreak.
The outbreak was initially reported to the Food and Drug Administration in April, but the FDA said it was unable to determine a cause and said there were no public health risks.
Corona’s spokesman said the company is working to ensure that all customers have their bottles and cans of Corona back in stock by the end of the week.
The company says the virus is “contained in our Corona beer.”
The company has not yet released details about the source of the virus.
Coronavirus experts say Corona’s beer could contain the virus, and consumers are being urged to check their bottles for viruses.
