
A drunken St Patrick`s Day reveller is accused of beating up a man at the parade.

Police are seeking witnesses and are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the fight or witnessed anyone else injured to come forward.
Police said the incident happened just after midnight on Saturday at the St Patrick Square parade route.
“Police attended an incident in the St Patricks Square area of Melbourne, a group of intoxicated men were present,” police said in a statement.
“There were at least one males involved and the altercation escalated to the point of a physical altercation, one male was taken to hospital for treatment and a number of other people were injured.”
The altercation continued and was subsequently resolved by members of the public who assisted the police.
“The St Patrick�s Day parade route is on the north side of the city.
